This is a very clean and quite modern hotel in a convenient location. Minutes to downtown Boone, many dining locations nearby. But the hotel itself is more important: clean, very comfortable room with al the necessities included: coffee marker, microwave, fridge... The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Free water downstairs, free cookies. Wonderful american breakfast - there are things to choose from, at least. The area felt safe, plenty of parking. The hallway has very beautiful and cozy fireplace, you can sit nearby. Plus, they have swimming pool that kids enjoy in the evenings. Overall, I can not recall any negative things to mention here - all was simply great. The price was a little bit higher than usual due to the demand (Memorial day weekend), but still - the place exceeded all the expectations.

The breakfast on Saturday morning was excellent and went back on Sunday morning and it was not near as good as the previous morning, maybe leftover gravy?? The lobby was very nice with a large fireplace, we sat there and had our coffee, very relaxing. We drove up there for the snow (up to 6 inches predicted), we only got a few flurries, not the hotel's fault), but it was relaxing there.

It's a dated facility but you can tell renovations have been done in the past. Liked the common area with the large fireplace. Hotel was centrally located and not a far drive from anything.

We loved having extra space to spread out without feeling cramped. The hotel was extremely quiet and everyone was friendly. The breakfast was enjoyable!
